Frequently asked questions
Clear answers to the questions we are asked most often. If your question is not covered, contact us or request a free 15-minute call.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book directly. If another clinician has referred you, bring any relevant letters, reports or scan results.
What happens at my first appointment?
We will discuss your concern, health history and goals, then carry out an assessment relevant to you. We will explain the findings and agree practical next steps together.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows the relevant area to be assessed and movement to be observed. You may wish to bring shorts or suitable sportswear.
How long are appointments?
Appointment length depends on the service selected. Check the relevant service page or ask when booking.
Where are appointments available?
In-person appointments are available in Wombourne and Moseley. Online Injury and Movement Assessments are also available where appropriate.
Can I choose a specific service myself?
Yes, although you do not need to diagnose the problem first. If you are unsure, request a free 15-minute call and we will help you choose the most suitable starting point.
Do you accept insurance?
Please contact us before booking if you intend to claim through private medical insurance. We can confirm what documentation may be available, but cover depends on your policy and provider.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. You are welcome to bring a parent, carer or support person. Please let us know if you need any reasonable adjustments.
