Online Injury and Movement Assessment
A clear assessment, wherever you are
Meet a qualified physiotherapist by secure video. We will discuss your symptoms, guide you through relevant movements and agree a practical plan. You will leave with clear advice, exercises where appropriate and the right next step.

Who it suits
A practical option when attending in person is difficult
Online assessment can suit many musculoskeletal concerns, sports injuries and movement problems. It is also useful for progress reviews and exercise guidance. Please use a device with a camera and microphone, choose a well-lit space and wear clothing that lets you move comfortably. Have any relevant reports or medication details to hand.
What to expect
We use conversation, observation and guided movement tests to understand what may be limiting you. An online assessment cannot replace hands-on testing in every case. If a face-to-face review, imaging or onward referral is needed, we will explain why.
Guided movement testing
Your physiotherapist will explain each movement before you try it. Tests may include range of movement, strength, balance or a task that matters to you. Move only within a comfortable and safe limit.
When an online assessment is not enough
Some problems need urgent or hands-on assessment. If we are concerned about a fracture, sudden neurological change, severe swelling, an open wound or another red flag, we will direct you to the appropriate in-person service. If symptoms are severe or rapidly worsening, seek urgent medical help.
Your plan and follow-up
Where appropriate, you will receive a personalised exercise and self-management plan with clear instructions. Follow-up can be online or face to face, depending on your needs.
Clear next steps
We will agree whether to continue online, book an appointment in Wombourne or Moseley, or arrange onward referral. You will know what to do next and when to review progress.
Book your online assessment
Use the form to ask about an Online Injury and Movement Assessment. Tell us briefly what you would like help with and how we can contact you. We will confirm whether an online appointment is suitable and explain the next step.
